The student gets encouraged to stand up and report bullying. This concept is introduced with a storyline and some activities to instil the idea in the child.

Expect the child to identify instances of bullying to oneself or others and take appropriate actions.

Reassure the child: Ask the child to tell you if someone bullied them. Reassure your child that you are there for them and never judge them.
Discuss possible situations: Pose questions to them based on likely scenarios related to signs of bullying and guide them on how you will help them deal with the problems.
Guide the child: Encourage the child to stand for others if someone else is being bullied. Guide them on how to deal with the scenario.

Bullying can be brutal to deal with, and at times there’s shame and guilt associated with it. Research shows that many bullies are victims of bullying themselves. Ensuring that the child does not become a victim of bullying also significantly increases their chances of not becoming a bully later on.
