Summary of the Lesson 

Throughout the session, the student categorises different personalities through a storyline, introspection, and activities to identify their personality type. They realise the meaning of being an extrovert, the pros and cons of being one.

 

What your child will learn 

 

• The meaning of extrovert.
• Characteristics of people who are extroverted by nature.
•  The concept of SPACE and its importance.
• To recognize extroverted people around them.

How is it going to help your child 

• To think about what kind of personality they have and how they think inreal-life situations.
• An introvert and extrovert have different nature and interests.
• Have an insight of why some of their friends are different.
• Be empathetic towards others’ behaviour and ways.

What to Expect 

Expect the child to have more clarity on their personality aspects and ability to distinguish between introverts and extroverts accordingly. The child understands the concept of SPACE with introverts and all around the place attitude of extroverts equally.

 

Parental Play & Role 

•  If you know that your child is an introvert, as a parent, you can talk to them explaining the concept of SPACE and practising it with them.
• Parents can also practise mindfulness with the child if they are extroverts and teach them to be careful with strangers.
• Talk to your child and normalise the existence of different types of people with the help of examples in family, books and movies.
• Explain the child how to make others’ comfortable (both introverts and extroverts) around them.
