Summary of the lesson

In this session, the student learns to acknowledge and accept the differences in people around them. They can embrace these differences and respect them. The goal of this session is not to eliminate these differences but value them, be compassionate, and include them. With the help of a storyline and introspection, the child learned this concept.

Converse: Have open, positive conversations about similarities and differences with your child. It helps lay the foundation for lifelong acceptance, confidence, and respect for others. 

Cultivate Empathy and responsibility: Talk to the child about how important it is to understand another person and be helpful. Learning about different people can offer new experiences for the child.

Be a role model: Children observe and follow what elders do more than they say. Your actions must give them the right message.
