Summary of the Lesson 

 

This session focused on inculcating      accountability and self-discipline to deal with procrastination and laziness. The students identified their patterns of laziness and were given various strategies to manage their time and develop self discipline. 

What your child will learn 

• Identify the patterns that lead to procrastination and laziness. 
• Recognize the set of behaviours and actions done to deal with laziness. 
• Overcoming laziness by applying strategies like 2 minute technique, Eisenhower principle among others.

• Developing accountability and self discipline.  
• Higher focus and concentration. 

What to Expect 

Expect the child to identify their patterns of laziness and actively try to overcome it by applying effective strategies. 

 

Parental Play & Role 

Sel realistic rules and expectations: Communicate positively to the child the rules of house and provide positive reinforcement when they follow. 

Schedule their day: Sit with your child and make a time table together. Give ample time for them to rest and play. This way they will be happy to follow the time table and will be more productive throughout the day.

Psychology Insight 

Starting the day by making your bed has been found to make people more productive throughout the day. This happens because they get a sense of accomplishment early on in the morning and remain motivated to tick everything else on their checklist. Inculcate the habit of making one’s own bed in your child.
